Vaidyaacharya is the result of the transformative power of suffering. Its founder, Dia Arora, began as a sufferer. Someone who experienced persistent skin reactions despite having perfectly normal skin. She watched helplessly as she battled sensitivity, irritation, and damage caused by the very products that promised to care for her.

The culprit? The chemicals hidden inside the world's most celebrated cosmetic brands, in their soaps, shower gels, shampoos, face washes, and beyond.

The Discovery

Dia didn't stop at the surface. She went to the root of the cause. And what she found was not in a laboratory; it was in her mother's kitchen.

Her mother had always known. For generations, Indian women had healed, nourished, and protected their skin and hair with the power of nature: turmeric, Chandan, Multani Mitti, aloe vera, lemon, neem, rice flour, rose petals, and charcoal. The sacred herbs of the subcontinent, ground lovingly with mortar and pestle.

These were not old wives' tales. These were ancient sciences. And Dia had grown up watching them work.
